Proceeds from the event will help Oak, a long time member of the Fort St. John community, alleviate the stress related costs of battling cancer, such as travel, medication and necessary time away from work.

The fun filled evening will include drinks, tasty snacks, a variety of party games, head shaving and a slew of prizes to be won.

“She was integral in having the Fort St. John chamber win the best communication award last year for chambers in B.C. and I mean, without her and the work that she does I don’t think Fort St. John would be the way it is today.” He adds “What’s affecting her is very sad and I understand it’s a tough time for her and the family, but anything we can do to help them out to make it an easier time is greatly appreciated.”

Festivities begin at 7 p.m. and tickets can either be purchased at the door for $15 or by contacting Kelsey Stevens at 250-261-9920.
