"This conference represents a significant milestone in our work to build a new industry in British Columbia," explains Coleman. "Industry and industry experts from around the world are coming here to discuss our LNG future. Our ability to attract a global audience for this conference is testament to our progress and an opportunity to maintain the momentum we have created."

In addition to the Province, the conference will also host natural gas LNG proponents, First Nations leaders, local governments, learning institutions, global investors, and domestic and international consumers. Through panel discussions on a variety of topics, the groups will discuss the status of B.C.'s LNG industry. Before the conference, a report on labour demand will be released for discussion at one of the panel discussions.

More details about the conference will be released in December.
