The duo, who have been touring constantly around North America, Australia and Europe, have an impressive resume to boast about. They have won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for their track "Ransom", the only Canadian band to receive this high honour.

The two also won the 2009 Canadian Folk Music Award for Vocal Group of the Year, were nominated for multiple East Coast Music Awards and nominated for a Juno for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year (Group).

Throughout their musical journey, Madison Violet has had the privilege of sharing the stage with some pretty impressive performers, such as Ron Sexsmith, Chantal Kreviazuk, the Indigo Girls and they have toured with Stuart McLean’s Vinyl Café.

Their songs have also earned praise from high profile artists such as Elton John, Wyclef Jean and Mary J. Blige.
