This region still has the lowest unemployment rate in the Province.  The North Coast & Nechako region has the highest unemployment rate in the province at 10.3 per cent. 

The Provincial rate remained dropped in October to 6.5 per cent even though the Province has a decline in the number of people working by 11,000.  Nationally, the unemployment rate stayed at 7.4 per cent.
