Although there were still 400 bears left at the beginning of Christmas Eve, Manager Warren Mears says they were all gone by 4:30 p.m.

This is the campaign that sees the LDB distribute a bear to charity for each one purchased by a customer. 2,400 were sold again this year, and 700 were donated back to the store, making it a grand total of 3,100 bears distributed.

The local store has posted the top sales honours for the past nine years, and Mears expects as he ordered the most bears of any branch in the province, this will be year number 10.

"Thanks Fort St. John," he says. "You are the best!"
