The fire occurred shortly after 6 a.m. on November 30, and completely destroyed one suite in Village St. John and damaged others.

Tansey O'Connor, who has volunteered to collect donations, says that Wayne has returned to work, despite serious injuries from the fire. He jumped from the second story to escape the fire, and bruised his feet.

O'Connor says the couple needs everything from clothes to household items. While they have a futon, they are looking for a bed. They are also in need of other furniture and electronics, as well as essentials like toothbrushes and hair brushes, as well as dishes.

Elaine wears a size 8 clothing, medium shirts and 29 waist pants, as well as size 10 shoes. Wayne wears large to extra-large shirts and 33/34 waist pants, as well as size 10 shoes.

To coordinate donations, contact Tansey O'Connor on Facebook, or by texting or calling 250-793-0662.
