Hockey fans encouraged to bring a new teddy bear with them to Saturday’s game, and when the Senior Flyers score their first goal, fans will get to throw their teddy bears on the ice.

Participants are being asked to wrap their bears in plastic or a shopping bag, to avoid any damage potentially caused by the ice.

All the bears will be donated to the local Salvation Army, which provides an extremely valuable service to the community, especially around the holiday season.
