In November, 400 new jobs were created in our region bringing the total number of people working to 40,300 and the unemployment rate unavailable.

This region still has the lowest unemployment rate in the Province.  The North Coast & Nechako region has the highest unemployment rate in the province at 8.5 per cent. 

The Provincial rate dropped to 6.2 per cent from 6.5 in October.  Nationally, the unemployment rate dropped to 7.2 per cent.
