Douglas Channel LNG Project finds buyer

Initially, the plant is expected to produce 700,000 tonnes of LNG a year. Golar will purchase both the feed gas supply and LNG purchase and off-take for train #1, beginning in the second quarter of 2015.

The facility is expected to begin initial facility commercial operations at the end of this year into 2014.

Golar markets itself as one of the world's largest owners and operators of LNG carriers.
