Drugs and weapons found during routine traffic stop

On Friday, January 25 at 9:50 p.m. an officer noticed the smell of marijuana coming from a car that had been pulled over for speeding within city limits. A search of the vehicle led to 705 grams of marijuana, 170 grams of cocaine, over $13,000 in cash, a knife, a crowbar and a can of bear spray being seized.

The three occupants of the vehicle were all arrested, including a female adult and a male and female young offenders. Police are now recommending charges of Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking and charges of Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking against all of them.
