Trackers back on the road for three-game weekend

The busy weekend begins tonight, when the Trackers make their way to Sturgeon County, Alberta, taking to the ice against the Mustangs.

Friday’s game will be the first meeting between the Trackers and the Mustangs, who sit fourth in the NAMHL’s West Blue Division with a record of 8-9-3.

Saturday, the team hits the road to Fort McMurray to take on the Barons, a team the Trackers swept in a two game series back on December 21 and 22 at home, beating the Barons by a combined score of 10-1 over the two games.

The Barons have defeated the Trackers once this season, handing them a 5-4 loss back on November 2.

As of now, the Trackers sit third in the NAMHL’s North Black Division, entering the weekend with a record of 9-11-0, sitting five points ahead of the Fort McMurray Barons and riding a three game winning streak into the weekend.
