The RCMP investigation determined the male had made stops in Beaverlodge on the morning of January 7, however it was unknown where the male was going.

The male’s vehicle was later discovered in a rural area near Tumbler Ridge Tuesday afternoon.  The Tumbler Ridge RCMP, with the help of a local police service dog unit, located the male at around 4:30 p.m.  He was then transported to a local hospital by STARS Air Ambulance with undetermined injuries.

At this time, the RCMP have not said why the male was in the Tumbler Ridge area.
