Centurion Savage Cup starts tomorrow

The winner of the Savage Cup will advance to compete for the Allen Cup, which will be hosted by the Bentley Generals in Red Deer, Alberta and will beginning on April 15.

Last year, the Powell River Regals defeated Fort St. John’s Flyers to win the Savage Cup.

This year marks the 100 year anniversary of the tournament, which was first won by the Vancouver Rowing Club during the 1912-1913 season.

Tickets are available at Ernie’s Sports Experts, and are being sold for $12 individually, or $30 for a three-pack. Individual tickets can also be purchased at the event.

All games being played will begin at 8 p.m.

If unable to attend the game, all the live action is being broadcasted on 100.1 Moose FM, with the Moose FM Pre-Game Show beginning 15 minutes before puck drop.
