Horst wraps up Crashed Ice in quarter finals

The ice cross racer jumped out of the gate in the quarter final match,  but following the first drop, experienced a toe pick with his skate, sending him flying head-over-heels over the opening jump.

Horst was unable to make up much ground following the stumble, finishing fourth out of a four man race where the top two competitors progress to the semi finals.

Following his quarter final finish, Horst adds 260 points to his world standings, bringing his total to 818, for an 11th ranked position in the Red Bull Crashed Ice series.

Horst also participated in the Team Challenge, racing with fellow competitors Scott Croxall and Travis Nagata, where team Living the Dream finished in third place.

The next and final Red Bull Crashed Ice Series race of the season will be held on March 16, being raced in Quebec City, the location where Horst raced his first Ice cross race a few years ago.
