The Huskies are coming off their second straight loss to the JDA Kings, who doubled up on the pups 6-3 Tuesday at the Grande Prairie Coca-Cola Centre.
Special teams were a decisive factor in that game three, as the Huskies went 0-for-7 on the power play, while Grande Prairie scored on three of their eight man advantages.
Tuesday's game was also the first game in the second round series that home team secured a victory.
Leading the series in points is JDA Kings forward Nolan Trudeau, who, with his four point performance Tuesday, enters Thursday’s game with 12 points (6G, 6A). On the other team, Robbie Sidhu enters game four leading the Huskies in points with 11 (4G, 7A).
It’s an extremely important game in the series, as a Grande Prairie win would see the JDA Kings take a commanding 3-1 lead, meaning Fort St. John would have to win three straight games to emerge series victors. A win, and the Huskies tie the series at 2-2, turning the best-of-seven playoff series into a best-of-three.
Tonight’s game hits the ice at 8 p.m.
