Last weekend of ice at Pomeroy Sport Centre

It’s also the last free family skate day, which has been an ongoing event sponsored by Devon Energy, allowing skaters free access to the track.

Patrons can hit the track anytime between noon and 5 p.m. Sunday.

Children seven years old and younger must be accompanied on the ice by a guardian 16 years of age or older.

Helmets must also be worn by skaters six and under.

Ice surfaces on the oval, as well as both the hockey rinks inside the PSC, will start to be removed the following day, Monday, March 25.
