This year marks the 50th anniversary of Loretta Lynn’s arrival on the music scene with her debut single, “I’m a Honky Tonk Girl.” With over 160 songs, 60 albums, ten number one albums and 16 number one singles on the country charts, Loretta plans on a night you won’t forget as she celebrates by looking back at the 50 years she has been part of the country music industry.  Loretta Lynn’s 50th Anniversary Tour will be in Dawson Creek at the Encana Events on Sunday, October 20, 2013.

Tickets will be available for purchase on Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m. PST. Tickets are priced at $60, $50 and $40, plus applicable fees. Tickets may be purchased online at dawsonco-optickets.com, by phone at 1-877-339-8499, and in person at the Dawson Co-op High Performance Outlet or the Tiger Box Office Plus in the Encana Events Centre.

“To make it in this business, you either have to be first, great or different,” says living legend Loretta Lynn.  “And I was the first to ever go into Nashville, singin’ it like the women lived it.”
