The hill is officially opens at 11 a.m. Thursday, and will remain open to skiers and snowboarders all the way until 9 p.m. tonight, so riders can enjoy some fun in the sun, as well as some night time riding.
Good Friday, also know as Frugal Fridays at Nitehawk, means $15 lift passes and $15 rentals between the hours of 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
Progressing into the weekend, Saturday, March 30, the hill will be holding the annual Slush Cup, a contest seeing who can ski or board the farthest across a 100 foot long pond. Last year, approximately 80 participants took their shot at winning the Slush Cup, and organizers expect just as many this year.

The event is great for anyone interested in having some unqiue fun at the hill, and anyone interested in competing is welcome to attempt.
Registration for the Slush Cup starts Saturday morning, and the competition begins at 2 p.m.
Saturday will also feature a Ski/Board Rail Jam, which is open for the public to compete in. Registration will take place Saturday morning with the competition beginning at noon.
Finally, Sunday will be chalked full of fun activities at the hill, as it’s Customer Appreciation Day at Nitehawk, which will feature deals such as 50 per cent off rentals, and $99 family day passes.
The tubing zone will also be offering some great deals, as Nitehawk will only be charging $70 for the whole family to tube, which includes the rental of helmets.
A Mountain Bike 4-Cross is also being held at Nitehawk Sunday, which will see competitors racing down a snow track along the ski hill. The event will take place at 2 p.m. with registration opening at 11 a.m.
In the spirit of Easter, Nitehawk will also be holding an Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, which will take place at 1 p.m. and will include free cake and hot chocolate for participants.
Staff at Nitehawk says the fun filled weekend will cap off a great season on the hill which began back on November 16. To add to the fun, staff claims the hill is in great condition because of last week’s heavy snowfall.
