Nicki Haugan leads the Women’s trophy points with 10, Celeste Pakstas and Bailey Haugan 4, Norma Webster 3 and Dian Loro 2. Tate Haugan leads the Under 19 with 10, Dawit Feyissa second at 8, Kelsey Young and Ty Haugan 3 each.

Irvin Tang won the morning Beatton River Hill climb with a time of 25:46 for the 3 k route. Chris Haugan was second at 26:22 and Nicki Haugan third at 26:44. Tate Haugan was 4th at 27:00 and Pat Ferris 5th at 27:35.

Other times were Darren Guliov 28:00, George Gamble and Gary Hilderman 28:06, Dawit Feyissa 28:33, Celeste Pakstas 28:46, Kelsey Young 29:05, Richard Wood 31:35, Norma Webster 33:07 and Dian and Davide Loro 48:51.

Community Interviews with Moose FM

Irvin Tang was the winner of the tough and hilly four lap Frozen John race, held in the afternoon. He pulled away from the other riders early in lap on e to win at 57:54. Chris Haugan was second at 1:01:03 and Pat Ferris third at 1:02:36. Darren Guliov was 4th at 1:02:45 and George Gamble 5th 1:04:09.

Gary Hilderman was 6th at 1:06:39 and Tate Haugan 7th 1:12:51.  Dawit Feyissa had 53:00 for three laps. Bailey Haugan had 45:09, Ty Haugan and Nicki Haugan had 46:07 for two laps and Davide Loro 18:02 for one lap.

Two races down and five races to go. The Beatton to Mile 62 goes Saturday at 2 pm and the Cecil Lake road race Sunday at 2.
