A stationary Arctic front just south of the Yukon border is combining with moisture associated with a Pacific low moving eastward along the front. Snowfall of 10 to 15 cm is expected today and this evening over the Cassiar Mountains, Watson Lake and Muncho Lake Park – Stone Mountain Park.
More than 10 cm will also fall over higher terrain around Fort Nelson.
In our region, the temperature will drop on Monday and we could see snow in the morning and evening, but it doesn’t seem as though we will get any significant accumulation. Monday we will only reach a high of minus 4 with a low of minus 12. Temperature should then start to get back to normal on Tuesday with a high of plus one plus 10 on Wednesday.
