Another week of spring basketball comes to a close

In Junior Division play, Team Purple was victorious over Team Red. The player of the game for Team Purple was Jillian Wilson, while Marek Andres was recognized for his efforts for the Reds.

Team Black squared off against Team Yellow, and it was the Blacks who found themselves on top at the end of the game. Claire Turner was the player of the game for the Black squad, and Bruce Nearhood took the same honour for his team.

The final game in the Junior Division saw Team Teal battle Team White, with Team Teal coming out victorious. Dayton Barron was the top player for the Teal team, and Morgan Fraser took the nod for the Whites.

In Senior Girls play, Lube X defeated Northern Valve 45-30. Rachel Wilkinson showed great hustle and solid defence as she was the top player for Lube X, and for Northern Valve, Stephanie Ross was the player of the game as she put in a solid game offensively.

Focus squared off against D. Bauer in the other Senior Girls game played that night. Focus was victorious at the final buzzer, winning by a score of 48-34. The top player for Focus was Toni Coulter, who made great shots throughout the contest and did a great job distributing the basketball. Dayna Hagen was recognized for her efforts for D. Bauer.

In the Senior Boys Division, D. Bauer and Sunlife squared off in a tilt that saw D. Bauer come out on top by a score of 58-49. EJ Conception was the top player for D. Bauer as he was aggressive defensively and was solid on the boards. Cole Steiner was the player of the game for Sunlife, who displayed good decision making throughout the game.

The last game from the Senior Boys saw Lube X battle Northern Valve. Bret Olson was the best player for Lube X as he showed great hustle up and down the court, and Matt Schaefer was recognized for his efforts for Northern Valve for showing great improvement in his play.
