Input sought on BG Canada’s Prince Rupert LNG project

It would be developed in two phases, with a capacity of up to 21 million tonnes a year when all three trains are operational. The project has been proposed by BG Group Canada, with Spectra Energy selected to build the accompanying 850 kilometre pipeline from near Fort St. John.

If it is determined that a federal environmental assessment is required, there will be three more opportunities for the public to comment on the project. Written comments must be submitted by May 27, 2013 to:
