Larson, a former student at Simon Fraser University was one of the founding members of the Canadian Marijuana Party, and the B.C. Marijuana Party in 2000 and 2001.
According to his Sensible B.C. campaign, B.C. has the highest rate of police reported incidents as it relates to simple possession of marijuana, and that officers in the province spend twice the amount of time and money when compared to the national average on dealing with marijuana possession.
Larson will be in Mackenzie on August 9 at 12:30 p.m. at Snac Shac, and Chetwynd at 6 p.m. at Murray’s Pub n Kitchen.
The following day, Larson will be in Dawson Creek at 11 a.m. at White Spot. That’s followed by a stop in Fort St. John at 1:30 p.m. at Silver Creek Cookhouse, and the day will wrap up with a visit in Hudson’s Hope at Hudson’s Restaurant at 4:30 p.m.
