Among those who have had strong performances so far include Sarah Darcel, who finished in seventh place in the 200 metre backstroke, sixth in the 100 metre backstroke, and sixth in the 200 metre breaststroke.
Making those efforts even more impressive is the fact that Darcel set club records with all of her times in those events. She finished in 2:26.78 in the 200 metre backstroke, 1:08.31 in the 100 metre backstroke, and 2:46.98 in the 200 metre breaststroke.
Skyeler Kerr meanwhile finished in second place in the 200 metre breaststroke in the boys grouping of 13 and 14 year olds. His time of 2:31.88 was also a club record.
The records kept falling as Rebekah Albu got into the action. She competed in the 17 and over category in the 200 metre breaststroke. She finished eighth overall, with a club record time of 2:55.91.
Holly Wiens competed in the girls 17 and over 100 metre backstroke. She finished in sixth place with a time of 1:09.13.
