“It’s An Honour” travelling exhibit visits Fort St. John

It’s an Honour informs people about the Canadian System of Honours as it recognizes people for a number of things including bravery, valour, and service.

Inside the exhibit, visitors will see a number of medals such as the Victoria Cross, which is Canada’s highest honour, as well as the Order of Canada, Decorations for Bravery, and a number of other military items.

There will also be a hologram message from former Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, and people will also have the chance to learn more about the role of the Governor General.

The It’s an Honour exhibit is currently stationed in the parking lot of the Pomeroy Sport Centre, and will remain there until 5 p.m.
