According to, the average price of a regular litre across Canada has lost nearly a full cent in the past week, and is now pegged at $1.228.

A 7:45 a.m. monitor also had the B.C. average at $1.25, but a local area survey early today showed no change in the common posted price in Fort St. John, at a $1.339.

An early morning check on the U.S. average price had it down to $3.28 a U.S. gallon, and that’s about 87 cents a litre.
