“The Peace River Regional District values each and every one of the community organizations and their volunteers who dedicate their time and energy in order to provide recreational, cultural and social activities and services throughout the rural communities of Electoral Areas B, C, D, and E,” writes the PRRD in a release. 

The recipients are nominated by community organizations, and approved by Electoral Area Directors.
