So far, none of the cars have ruptured, but according to the DHT, one is leaning and slowly sinking. CN is bringing in heavy equipment to secure the vessel, and its Emergency Response Action Plan with the Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership Emergency Operation Centre has been activiated.

At this point, no injuries have been reported. Residents are asked to stay away from the area in order for emergency crews to work.
