As reported earlier, it occurred at a Resources Road crosswalk, and sent 16 year old Cassidy Dietrich to hospital where she later died of her injuries. 

Sallis, who was arrested on Tuesday, has now been charged with dangerous driving causing death, criminal negligence causing death, and failure to remain at the scene of an accident. However, he’s also been released on cash bail by a Justice of the Peace, albeit with a number of conditions. 

He’s scheduled to make his next court appearance in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on December 2nd.
