The Trackers opened the scoring in the first period and held the lead going into the second period. It was all Fort McMurray for the next period and a half however. The Barons netted five goals in that stretch to take a 5-1 lead.

To their credit the Trackers did not go away quietly. A goal at the ten minute mark of the third period was followed by another two goals in the final five minutes but that was as close as they would get.

Goals for the Trackers were scored by Matthew Apsassin, Ricky Bateman, Wes Shipton, and Wyatt Gale. Gale also played a big role setting up plays as he had three assists. Also getting assists were Ricky Bateman with two, Tyler Krane, Ethan Buck, and Deon Leer.
