North Peace Savings and Credit Union will be collecting donations up until December 7, and donations can be made by cash or cheque. Tax receipts will be issued by the Canadian Red Cross for donations over $20.

In a release, North Peace Savings and Credit Union CEO Mitchel Chilcott says “Day to day we have interaction within the global community. North Peace Savings prides itself on its commitment to building stronger communities. This includes North Peace Savings extending its support outside the local regions and providing help and assistance where there is a need.”

Fees for wire transfers to the Philippines have also been waived until December 7.
