A Chief Election Officer had to be appointed and a byelection called within thirty days of her resignation. 

Nominations for candidates will be accepted by the School District during a 10 day period from Tuesday, December 17 to Friday, December 27. 

Applicants aren’t required to live in the District of Hudson’s Hope, but must be a Canadian citizen and have been a B.C. resident for at least six months, as well as 18 years of age or older.
