His death is being treated as suspicious, but to date there’s been no word on any arrests related to the matter. An investigation into the young man’s death is ongoing by local RCMP and the North District Major Crime Unit. 

Police have asked that anyone with information or that may have seen an ATV with two people on it during the evening of November 23 or the morning of November 24, to contact them. 

Bruce was a North Peace Secondary School student, and an emotional memorial was held for his friends and family at the high school on December 4. In his eulogy, he was described as a rambunctious and energetic kid who enjoyed working on anything with an engine and loved being active outdoors fishing, quadding, and boating with friends.
