B.C. South Peace River issued

Temperature will drop rapidly below freezing today.

Temperatures are above zero in the B.C. South Peace River this morning and it was raining earlier this morning. A vigorous cold front will move through the region today bringing a rapid drop in temperature below zero this afternoon, which will cause freezing. Earlier this morning, temperature in Fort St John fell 14 degrees in one hour in the wake of the front.
