Both teams open the first period with a goal a piece and went to the locker room tied at one.

The Flyers came out strong in the second period once play resumed. The team took the lead less than five minutes into the period and even though Hythe quickly tied the game, the Flyers outscored them 3-1 in the period and enjoyed a 4-2 heading into the third.

Fort St. John continued to build on their lead in the final period. The Flyers scored two goals within a minute, and added a third with less than three minutes to go. Hythe would find the back of the net in the period as the final was 7-3.

Scoring in order for the Flyers were Gerard Dicaire, Gerard Dicaire, Adam Horst, Adam Horst, Arlo Hadland, Adam Horst, and Adam Horst. 

Shots on goal at the end of the game were 50-32 in favour of Fort St. John. Dillion Maier made 29 saves in the victory.

Next for the Flyers is a make up game tomorrow night on the road as they take on the Spirit River Rangers at 8:30 p.m.
