It’s believed, but not yet confirmed, that the Fort St. John branch is the only one in the province that pushed its inventory that high, and if that’s the case, this will be the 11th consecutive year it’s led the province in sales. 

For those not familiar with the program, for every bear purchased by a customer, there’s a twin supplied by the LDB for local charity distribution. 

This year, Mears has also confirmed more than 900 of the purchased bears have been voluntarily returned, meaning that his distribution total will be over 3,500.

So congratulations are in order again to him and his staff, and particularly to their customers, for another championship sellout performance, 30 hours ahead of the sales deadline.
