B.C. North Peace River issued

Heavy snow developing Monday night

This is a warning that significant snowfall is expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.

An intensifying low pressure area heading toward the coast will result in snow developing over the east central part of BC overnight. Heavy snow is expected over the Williston lake area after midnight and to spread to the Fort St John area by morning. Snow will ease over the Williston Tuesday morning and later in the day over the Northern Peace. Total amounts will be in the 10 to 20 cm range. Lesser amounts are expected over the Southern Peace and the McGregor region at this time.
