The hope of the District is that Taylor and the region will be left off better than they were before construction.
Residents will get to learn more about the agreement at a public meeting on January 7 at the Taylor Municipal Office. Starting at 5 p.m., the District will explain the document, and answer questions from the public.
As part of the Peace River Regional District, Taylor is also part of a Legacy Benefits Agreement with B.C. Hydro that would provide the PRRD with $2.4 million a year that will be spread among its member communities.
