With the Flyers’ win on Wednesday over the Athletics, they closed to within one point of Grande Prairie in the West Division standings and can take over first place with a win tonight. 

Hythe is struggling at the bottom of the West Division standings with a record of 3-10.

Last time the Mustangs visited the North Peace Arena the Flyers demolished Hythe 19-1 and the game also featured a couple of line brawls in the third period.

After tonight’s game, the Flyers will travel to High Prairie to take on the Regals, who have yet to win so far this season.
