In Fort St. John and Charlie Lake areas, the latest estimate on when power will be restored is 7 p.m. tonight.

In the Dawson Creek area the estimate is power will be restored by 7 p.m. tonight.

Some of Tumbler Ridge had power restored Wednesday night, but still close to 1,000 customers in that community are without power and that may not be restored until 7 p.m. Friday.

Chetwynd residents are also in the same boat as Tumbler Ridge and power in that area may not be restored until 5 p.m. or 7 p.m. Friday.

Most of Hudson’s Hope is still without power and crews from Hydro hope to also have power restored in that area by Friday at 7 p.m.

B.C. Hydro has brought in more crews from the Vancouver to help restore power.

Schools in the area are open today and buses are running.  Dawson Creek & Tumbler Ridge Campuses of Northern Lights College will be closed Jan 16 due to continued loss of power.
