Organizers of the fair say the event is something employers have been asked for, for some time.

In a release show manager Kevin Hilgers says “We’ve operated these job fairs in Grande Prairie for some years – and more than a few have asked we do the same in Fort St. John. The idea is it puts multiple employers under one roof. This makes it more attractive for job seekers and more effective for the employers.”

Those attending the event are asked to bring copies of their résumé and dress to impress.
