Most of the outages remain in rural areas of the Peace near Chetwynd, Dawson Creek and Fort St. John.  Most of the outages in the South Peace are expected to be restored by 5 p.m. today, while in the Fort St. John area, the outages could be restored by 9 p.m. tonight.

On Friday, Hydro released a message apologizing for the recent outage and thanked residents for their patience while they restore power.

While most of the outages have been restored, Hydro is asking anyone who is still without power to contact 1-888-POWERON as soon as possible.
