The KOC Flyers opened the scoring 3:23 into the first period as Aaron Kosinsky opened the scoring. The team maintained their lead throughout the period and into the dressing room.

Grande Prairie controlled things in the second period. They scored less than three minutes into the frame, and with less than a minute to go as they led 2-1 going into the second period.

Fort St. John responded with a strong period of their own in the third. The team scored twice in 59 seconds midway through the third to tie and take the lead in the game. The Flyers hung on to take the victory 3-2.

Scoring in order for the Flyers were Aaron Kosinsky, Thomas Pope, and Jacob Lang.

Next for the KOC Flyers is a game on Sunday as they take on the Brazeau Parkland Selects at 9:45 a.m. at the Pomeroy Sport Centre.
