Pimm says he will undergo the surgery at the hospital in Grande Prairie.

Pimm told Premier Christy Clark and his cabinet colleagues today about his diagnosis, which he describes as a curve ball that will keep him on his back for a short time. Pimm says he was feeling uncomfortable late last year and a series of medical tests discovered the cancer.
