The Barons opened the scoring early in the game as the found the back of the net 25 seconds into the first period with an unassisted goal. The 1-0 lead for the Barons would carry through to the end of the period.

In the second period it was the Flyers turn to score early as they tied the game 36 seconds in to tie the game at one. The Barons took with lead with a goal with 7:51 left in the second period and held the lead into the third.

The Flyers once again tied the game early in the period. They netted their second goal of the game a minute and a half in to make the score 2-2. The Barons however would take the lead for good with just over six minutes left and got an insurance marker on the power play with 1:06 left in regulation to round out the scoring.

Scoring for the Flyers were Tyler Turner, and Isaac Wagner.

Jordan Fairlie was between the pipes for the Flyers and stopped 23 of 27 shots.

Next for the Ross H. McLean Flyers is a tournament next weekend in Grande Prairie.
