Central Mountain Air will still fly once a day to Vancouver.

The expansion was the result of collaboration between the City of Dawson Creek, the Dawson Creek & District Chamber of Commerce, Central Mountain Air and its partner Hawkair.

The Chamber posted the following message on their Facebook page.  “We are very disappointed as the Dawson Creek & District Chamber of Commerce and the City of Dawson Creek worked very hard to bring this service to our area. We appreciate the dedication of City and Airport Staff and look forward to working with them on new projects.”
