Executive Director of the Child Development Centre Penny Gagnon says the money raised will go towards the Build A Fort project and a playground for the children.

“We are looking to raise $100,000 and that money raised will go towards the ongoing mortgage reduction for project Build A Fort and we continue to look at ways on how were going to develop our playground at the back of the building,” she says. “We are looking at doing a nature inspired playground that brings in the natural elements for children.”

To help raise funds performers taking part in the talent show bring in pledges from friends, families and businesses. Individuals or groups wanting to take part in the event can get in touch with Gagnon at 250-785-3200, or send an email to
