After talks, council passed the motion to endorse the liquor license, under the terms that the rotary club agrees to the recommendations, including food service is provided to patrons and that the liquor license will run from 6pm to Midnight or an half hour after the event finishes.

Councillors Larry Evans and Trevor Bolin declared a conflict of interest and did not vote. Councillor Evans is the head of security for the event and Councillor Bolin is President of Sunrise Rotary Club.
