The vehicle is a full sized picker style truck with a trailer and is fully engulfed on the roadway. The occupants of the vehicle were unharmed. 

Because the truck is outside of the fire protection area, it will be allowed to burn. 

Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes to Hudson’s Hope and Chetwynd as the highway will be closed for quite some time.
