The Crystal Cup will also get started today with play beginning at 6 p.m. and wrapping up around 9 p.m. For those wanting to have fun in doors the Lido Theatre will be having a “Laugh Your Ice Off” comedy show starting at 8 p.m. Additional comedy shows will be held Saturday, Sunday, and Monday also at 8 o’clock.

Saturday’s events will start at 9 a.m. with the Mayor’s Challenge, and a professional and community ice carving competition at Centennial Park. Children’s activities will kick off at Centennial Park at 1 p.m., and over at the North Peace Arena an old timers hockey tournament will be held from noon until 10 p.m.

Sunday morning at 9 a.m. the ice fishing derby will be held at Inga Lake. The event goes until 3 p.m. Ice carving and snow sculpting will begin at 9 a.m. at Centennial Park. The old timers hockey tournament will also resume at 9 o’clock at the North Peace Arena and the Crystal Cup will start their final day at 10 a.m.
